Due to an internal promotion, Bayer Crop Science is seeking a new Campaign Manager to join its Melbourne based marketing team.
You will be responsible for the delivery highly engaging and segment lead campaigns, which connect with our wide variety of customers in the agricultural sector. You will be hands on and manage the timely execution of campaigns by translating commercial strategy into innovative customer focused campaigns across our Crop Protection and Seed and Traits portfolios.
This is a great time to join our team, as we have just moved into a beautiful new office in Hawthorn. With great views of the city, private deck area with outside seating, sit/stand desks with dual screens at every workstation, on-site café and good transport options. It is easy to fit into our hybrid working culture. The team tends to work 2 days in the office and 3 at home, with a key anchor day each fortnight where we come together for collaboration sessions as a full marketing team.
Do something that moves you.
- Develop and manage all marketing campaign plans, leveraging strategic direction and key insights presented by Portfolio Brand Managers.
- Translate commercial strategy into innovative, customer focused campaigns in line with branding guidelines.
- Liaise regularly with Marketing, Sales and Customer Insights colleagues to ensure campaign content is relevant, accurate and is designed for success in the relevant market segment.
- Provide support for annual marketing reviews, sharing current campaign performance and the future campaign roadmap.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to monitor and report campaign metrics.
- Maintain the annual campaign calendar across each portfolio group.
- In conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager, liaise with external suppliers including media buying agencies, creative agencies, graphic designers, and videographers.
- Brief the broader Marketing Operations Team on events and email marketing requirements that form part of each campaign plan.
- Manage campaign budgets in line with the overall portfolio marketing budget.
- Liaise with the Communications team to identify PR opportunities, industry partnerships, events, media activities and podcasts.

- Proven campaign planning and execution capability within commercial marketing.
- A true hands on Campaign professional, who loves being a SME and can influence others, without being a people leader.
- A strong background in copywriting, editing and collateral production.
- Be results orientated.
- An exceptional ability to keep track of multiple concurrent projects, balance priorities and deliver these with a keen eye for detail.
- A collaborative nature, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- A strong strategic and analytical aptitude, with tactful negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and influence activities across cross functional teams, without direct reporting relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Automation, Google Analytics and key social media advertising platforms is preferred.
- Experience within the agricultural sector will be highly advantageous.
