Where do you want to go?

Reporting to the Country Medical Director and being a member of the Medical Leadership Team, support and implement global and regional governance, compliance and patient support programs. Ensuring medical processes remain fit for purpose, including value adding bringing efficiency to medical functions. 

Do something that moves you.

  • Develop and Implement patient support programs to allow patient access to Bayer products
  • Conduct training on relevant industry codes and Bayer compliance with standard operating procedures and operating instructions 
  • Ensure ANZ is audit ready by promoting and instilling excellence and appropriate governance in all medical activities
  • Coordinate, implement and monitor adherence of CAPAs and other activities after audits and inspections
  • Develop and update country specific standards operational procedures in alignment with globally set standards and local regulations
  • Develop and implement country specific communication initiatives to ensure compliance across ANZ to internal and external regulations
  • Takes appropriate action steps to mitigate identified risks regarding internal and external regulations
  • Advise and guide Bayer management in all compliance and governance related areas
  • Participate on a regular basis in medical management meetings as well as teleconferences and workshops by global compliance or governance functions 
  • ensure requests to access Bayer products are timely processed allowing quick access to medications
  • Engage in local trade associations including code compliance work streams, whilst oversees all mandatory reporting
  • Responsible for operational process and people management and development of medical operations and governance team

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in compliance, governance, patient access/support or medical affairs
  • Tertiary qualification in healthcare, science, or related discipline
  • Thorough understanding of elements of medical department
  • Understanding of elements of internal and external compliance
  • Experience in preparation and coordination of audits and inspections
  • Experience in preparation, coordination, implementation and monitoring of patient support programs, standard operational procedures, and other policies documents
  • Good capability evaluating and balancing compliance risks with business needs and processes.
  • Ability to actively and constructively manage conflicts between business and compliance concerns.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to efficiently work in cross-functional teams
  • Leadership experience managing medium teams
