Are you solutions focused with an eye for detail and driven to find the “yes” ? You will work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Corporate Compliance Officer, Legal, Business Operations, Medical Affairs, Medical Governance and peak bodies in Australia and New Zealand.

You will ensure all internal and external communications and promotional materials are compliant with all internal Bayer policies as well as the relevant industry Code. The position holder is expected to work in close collaboration across the Pharmaceutical business to ensure compliance.
- Review/approve internal and external communications and promotional materials to ensure compliance with all internal Bayer policies as well as the relevant industry Code.
- Conduct training in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, Medicines New Zealand Code of Practice and Bayer compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operating instructions (OIs) relating to Medical Affairs.
- Support the handling of all medical compliance matters in the local Bayer businesses subject to Code requirements.
- Support the development of country specific standards and procedures with regards to Code compliance and Bayer medical compliance in alignment with globally set standards.
- Support the development and implementation of country specific communication initiatives in medical compliance.
- Support all country specific training and track training regarding medical compliance matters.
- Take appropriate actions to mitigate identified risks regarding medical compliance matters.
- Review and check all agreements which may directly or indirectly result in payments to Healthcare Professionals.
- Keep close communication with stakeholders to detect need for new/further compliance requirements and feedback to Legal and Compliance function.
- Support Medical Excellence activities to ensure best practice through efficient process and system operations whilst maintaining audit readiness.
Does this sound like you?
- Solid experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in compliance or medical affairs roles
- Tertiary qualification in healthcare, science, or relevant area
- Thorough understanding of elements of internal and external compliance
- Good capability evaluating and balancing compliance risks with business needs and processes.
- Good presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Solid time management, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to efficiently work in cross-functional teams
