Where do you want to go?

You will help design and implement control software for Bayer radiology systems and work closely with and take guidance from the Software Architect.

Do something that moves you.

  • Design and development of Web UI front-ends using Angular 2+
  • Employing good software engineering practises including carrying out developer testing, documenting code, participating in code reviews and other software engineering tasks as directed by the software technical lead.
  • Mentoring junior engineers in Web development technologies.
  • Following software development processes as mandated by medical device software regulation.

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  •  5+ years software engineering experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Javascript
  • Experience in web front-end or UI development with Angular (or other Javascript framework)
  • Experience in mobile development in Android or iOS
  • Knowledge of web communication technologies (HTTP, REST)
  • Advanced object oriented programming experience in at least one OO language e.g C++, C#, Java etc.
  • Experience in a Linux environment.
  • Experienced in the use of software developer tools including version control, issue management, automated build/test/deploy.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Complex technical problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self–motivated and capable of working independently.

Desirable:

Experience in a regulated industry (preferably medical devices)
