Where do you want to go?

Add value to our Consumer Health (CH) divisional operations by drawing on a high level of business acumen and application of controlling insights across the whole P&L, including Sales, P&I and Opex - cost centre management across Australia and New Zealand.

Partner closely with Head of Finance ANZ, Cluster Lead, Category leads all relevant functions within CH to deliver transparent and accurate financial results and reporting leading to key insights and decision making based on financial results.

Focusing on the efficient and effective coordination, governance and execution of standard Controlling activities including standard financial report filling, data quality checks and analytics in compliance with global controlling procedures and guidelines.

  • Support the division in the financial steering and planning, tracking of target achievement, business analysis and performance management
  • Business Partner with key commercial stakeholders in all elements of the P&L; Sales, COGS, P&I and cost centre management
  • Co-ordinate and complete month end controlling process ensuring all journals are correctly processed, results are validated and accurate in a timely manner. This includes accruals for P&I, Opex, legal entity costing and rebate reconciliations as well as reporting requirements.
  • Manage all non-direct P&L KPI’s including Net Prime Costs and P&I, DSO, days of inventory, write offs, cashflow planning and forecasting
  • Develop efficiencies in reporting and tracking certain areas through interaction with business team including reporting packs, P&I spend and cost centre reporting
  • Execute complete end to end planning and forecasting processes for straco, budget and quarterly forecasts to optimize the financial performance of the commercial operations in ANZ
  • Prepare new product launch and other business case financial outputs
  • Prepare required financial analysis for management team meetings and participate in relevant meetings
  • Develop and execute framework around approvals and business decision making
  • Strong interaction and collaboration with regional finance team to ensure consistency in approach, tools and methodology
  • Strong interaction and collaboration with local Enabling Functions such as Group Finance and Legal Entity Controlling
  • Key support for global projects including ZBB, LIFT (cashflow), divestments and acquisitions
  • Assist with compliance audits and process reviews both internally and externally
  • Manage external Shared Services for ANZ offshore – ensuring all tasks required are completed accurately

  • Proven track record in Commerce or Finance
  • Direct experience in a finance related role within FMCG or retail industries
  • Build and leverage strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in an organised manner and set priorities to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Hands on with a team focused mindset
  • Ability to work in dynamic, ambiguous environment with agility, flexibility and resilience
  • Advanced excel
  • Strong SAP knowledge and experience
  • Member of recognised Accounting Body (preferred)
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent studies
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with fast moving dynamics
