Where do you want to go?

As a Territory manager within our Consumer Health division you will manage Consumer Care products through effective sales promotion, category management and customer service excellence. Ensuring alignment with the annual marketing and sales plan, which includes representing the organisation with country travel and conference attendance while upholding Bayer LIFE principles.

Drive and achieve budgeted customer sales and market share targets in both Pharmacy and grocery stores.. While being empowered to plan and deliver a regular territory call cycle and country travel trips based on business cycle priorities. Ensuring to conduct business reviews with key accounts and management of any bespoke customer issues.

  • Develop merchandising requirements for the territory and direct merchandiser as required, within budget alongside Implement marketing activity as required.
  • Commit to achieving KPIs including training, distribution, merchandising and NPD alongside driving sales and market share targets for assigned territory as per cycle priorities
  • Identify and deliver against customer opportunities as highlighted through quarterly business reviews for assigned accounts
  • Create and implement a Territory Overview Plan using CRM
  • Implement Bayer Spark! Program as per guidelines and ensure customer information is maintained and updated in CRM system
  • Support and drive national and state-based account promotional plans and manage business expenditure within set budget ensuring territory coverage according to Bayer SAM grading principles
  • Implement the Bayer 5 Step Selling Process and conduct instore and external customer product training as required
  • Ensure and maintain product knowledge excellence
  • Achieve optimal product ranging and share of shelf by applying category management and consumer and shopper insight principles
  • Sign Independent, State Group and agreed National Banner customers to category initiatives as required
  • Deliver outstanding visibility of Bayer products both at shelf and maximising opportunities for off location displays
  • Ensure effective communication between your team members,
  • Active participation in team events/conferences
  • Periodic reporting of key measurements and dimensions
  • Ensure daily instore use and synchronisation of CRM
  • Comply with corporate OH&S requirements and Bayers Corporate Compliance Regulations

Does this sound like you?

  • Demonstrated success at achieving sales results across a designated territory
  • Planning skills with ability to manage and prioritise
  • Business acumen especially with respect to delivering business plans and leveraging insights from data
  • Ability to manage a budget and spend
  • Experience and understanding of sell-out drivers and leveraging this in store across the customer base
  • Excellent presentation, teamwork and communication skills
  • Demonstrated accuracy in reporting, and daily management of KPI’s via CRM
  • Experience with CRM technology (Perenso preferred)
