The main purpose of this role is to manage the operational priorities of Australian domestic third party logistics providers and the operational requirements of internal Bayer stakeholders to sustainably meet the service levels and logistics cost constraints. Prime accountability for warehousing & transport operations on a daily /weekly basis, ensuring service levels are efficiently & accurately met within agreed costs.

Where do you want to go?

Accountable for maintaining inventory accuracy for Bayer Australia by ensuring service levels are efficiently and accurately met within agreed cost targets. This role works closely with the contracted 3PL to ensure customers and patients receive the right products when and where required.

Do something that moves you.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to sustainably meet service levels and cost objectives
  • Maintain inventory alignment between company and 3PL stock holdings
  • Support daily logistics operations and supply chain activities
  • Reconcile and process invoices for warehouse/logistics cost centres
  • Act as local subject matter expert for Warehousing & Inventory Control IT systems across ANZ
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to inventory and logistics processes

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience gained at a leading multi-national company
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of warehousing and inventory best practice
  • Fluent in English, strong interpersonal skills, dispute management skills, problem solving skills, and effective communication skills
  • Confidence and comfort in engaging & challenging senior leadership
  • High level SAP & Excel knowledge
