Where do you want to go?

Bayer, Crop Science aims to be able to produce enough food, feed, fiber and renewable raw materials for a growing world population on the limited land available.  IT is a pivotal supporting function to achieve this aim.

In this role you will work closely with the leadership team. You will act as local liaison for the Regional Digital/IT Business Partnering team. Ideally you will be based, at least partially in our Hawthorn East office, Melbourne.

Regional Digital/IT Business Partner, IT Integration & Transformation acts as co-creator and single points of contact for the for continuity of business, as well capability development of the IT Function within the region. This role is expected to keep an overview of the various capabilities and ensure their continuity during the integration phase of the new Bayer organisation.

  • Maintain an overview of all services used within Crop Science at country, regional and global level
  • Keep the record of critical set of resources which secures business continuity on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with the global Bayer IT 2022 teams to understand the potential impact of functional transformation within the regional business and recommends alternative options to secure business continuity
  • Maintain an overall financial records of spend within the region and provides detailed analysis on the impacts IT can bring via future digital transformations

Does this sound like you?

  • University degree in computer science, science, business administration or an equivalent qualification with relevant work experiences
  • Extensive experience of customer-facing work in Digital/IT and/or business functions
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of showing initiative
  • Able to collaborate and negotiate effectively
  • Skilled in project management, strategic thinking, and leadership
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experienced in change management
