Where do you want to go?
Working in the Crop Science Regulatory Affairs team at our Hawthorn office, you will be responsible for management of our Seeds and Traits (Cotton & Canola) field trial compliance programs for regulated and stewarded products to ensure compliance with the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OTGR) licences and guidelines, Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) permits and Bayer stewardship requirements across the extensive Bayer product portfolio.
We have recently moved into a new office on Burwood Road, which offers free secure onsite parking and offers a choice of cafés and lunch spots within walking distance.
Do something that moves you.
- Development of stewardship documentation to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
- Be responsible for the development and timely submission of regulatory and compliance related reports to the OGTR and APVMA.
- Act as the Institutional Biosafety Committee secretary to coordinate and track IBC activities and meetings.
- Assist with product and facility lifecycle management for products within the portfolio.
- Manage the implementation of pre-commercial stewardship programs for canola and cotton commodities.
- Assist the Regulatory Stewardship and Compliance Lead with incident management.
- Obtain and maintain certifications for all facilities including glasshouses, to ensure full compliance for tracking and quarantine.
- Coordinate the import and export of regulated plant material, in liaison with key internal and external stakeholders.
Does this sound like you?
- Experience in a regulatory or scientific stewardship position.
- An understanding of Agricultural products would be highly regarded, but as this role operates in a niche market, a wiliness to learn about the commodities in depth is more important.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- First class organisational skills.
- Strong collaborative relationship skills. This position will see you work with diverse teams and professional groups globally.
- Be able to drive outcomes from cross functional teams, by utilizing your strong influencing skills without having a direct reporting line.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
