Where do you want to go?

You will help design and implement new software technology for our Radiology equipment. You'll work closely with and take guidance from the Software Architect and provide mentorship to more junior associates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop and maintain software for radiology contrast injectors and related systems spanning embedded, host and cloud technologies
  • Employing good software engineering practices including carrying out developer testing, documenting code, participating in code reviews and other software engineering tasks as directed by the Software Architect
  • Following software development processes as mandated by medical device software regulation

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ and Javascript
  • Knowledge of web communication technologies (HTTP, REST)
  • Advanced object-oriented programming experience
  • Experience in a Linux environment
  • Experienced in the use of software developer tools including version control, issue management, automated build/test/deploy
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Complex technical problem solver
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self–motivated and capable of working independently

Desirable:

  • Experience building and deploying Linux based systems
  • Bash scripting
  • Experience in a regulated industry (preferably medical device)
