Where do you want to go?

As a Demand and Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for the S&OP process and the end-to-end supply chain activities for the Environmental Science division within assigned countries in APAC.

You will be responsible for managing the procurement, ordering and forecasting of a portfolio of products to support regional sales teams and toller manufacturing. This includes intercompany and active Ingredient ordering, 3rd party raw material ordering, assisting with tendering, approving orders and all associated post PO processing activities.

The position ensures on-time finished goods supply in accordance with SLAs to customers, whilst meeting inventory targets and optimising total cost of supply.

  • Undertake demand planning; checking MRP data for anomalies
  • Plan, purchase and manage all active ingredients, raw materials and finished goods ensuring best possible COGS
  • Adhere to full regulatory and quality compliance for dedicated portfolio countries
  • Analyse the demand & supply situations; act as the key supply chain contact ensuring adequate inventory supply to avoid shortages and access inventory 
  • Negotiate and document key delivery dates to ensure a smooth supply of materials and end products
  • Provide input into local and regional improvement projects
  • Collaborate to successfully introduce new products for your portfolio

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven Planning and/ Procurement experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure working previously within a FMCG industry would be highly regarded
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and suppliers in different time zones
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills and data driven problem solving skills
  • Fluency in a secondary language would be highly desirably
