This is a great opportunity to grow your skills within a manufacturing environment. At Bayer CropScience we are a small team of dedicated Plant Operators, producing chemical products for customers in farming, horticulture and turf industries just to name a few.

You will have the opportunity to work across the full production line, starting at packing and moving all the way through to chemical formulation. You will require a strong ability to follow strict work health, safety, quality and environmental protection standards.

Our site is located in Pinkenba, Brisbane with onsite parking available. We work Monday - Friday with fortnightly pay and RDO, along with overtimes sometimes available during peak production times. All pay rates are in line with our dedicated Bayer Pinkenba enterprise agreement, which are all above award rates and the opportunity to also included in our company incentive scheme.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Setting up and operating the production packing line machinery
• Measuring raw materials into our production formulation machinery
• Performing quality control checks, competently and unsupervised
• Be willing to work on all areas of production
• Ability to run machines to daily production timetables
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and adhered to
• Contribute to continuous improvements

Does this sound like you?

• Able to commit to working shifts in the morning and afternoon. No night shift required.
• Direct experience within a Manufacturing environment and packing lines is essential
• Good literacy skills, in order to read and follow safe work practice documentation and formulation measurements
• Cert 3 in manufacturing or above (preferred)
• Direct experience in formulation will be awarded at higher enterprise agreement pay rates
• Have the drive to progress your career and learn all parts of our production
• A positive 'can do' attitude
• Ability to listen to constructive feedback and learn from others will see your career grow

You must be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test as part of our selection process(paid for by Bayer) and allow us to undertake work reference checks. You must also be able to provide current work rights, which allow you to work full time in Australia.
