The primary purpose of this position is to drive growth of the defined pest/termite territory through execution of Environment Science Group’s strategy, identification of new business development opportunities, market segmentation and digital utilisation.
Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager you will promote, develop and coordinate Bayer’s Environmental Science Group’s portfolio mix to customers, distributers and key decision influencers to optimise market share.

As an integral member of our Pest Sales team you will be responsible to:
- Establish and implement territory plan based on robust market intelligence, customer segmentation, product positioning and competitive knowledge.
- Focus on key opportunities to achieve year on year growth and set sales targets.
- Anticipate customer needs through insights and analytics gained in the adoption and full utilisation of CRM.
- Utilise CRM to improve customer experience, gain loyalty and maximise customer potential.
- Proactively identify, create and implement plans to capture opportunities to expand business in the Territory.
- Plan and execute activities which assist in rapid adoption of new products as well as growing base business of established proprietary products.
- Develop and enhance external partnerships within territory to build on brand value to identify new opportunities for consultants, distribution partners, industry bodies and key influencers.
- Maintain accurate forecasting based on environmental outlooks, market information and competitive knowledge.
- Ability to travel throughout QLD, to NT and NZ to meet customer and business requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement.

- Relevant experience in direct Pest/Termite Segment preferred.
- Possesses a strong technical, product and market background.
- Commercial acumen and outstanding relationship building skills.
- Able to promote, present and sell the value proposition.
- Demonstrated Sales and Business Development ability – progresses each interaction to a commitment.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, articulate, energetic and self-directed.
- Computer literate with good understanding of Microsoft Office and CRM applications.
- Possesses strong negotiation skills.
