Where do you want to go?

In this role you will be developing your skills to become a national account manager , partner with the Snr National Account Manager to build mutually beneficial trade relationships with customers to maximize sales and profit through strategic account planning and implementing joint business plans.

You will also be responsible for aligning promotional plans and leveraging consumer and shopper insights while tracking trade spend revenue.

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with Chemist Warehouse key contacts
  • Achieve budgeted customer sales, profitability and market share targets
  • Developing negotiation and net revenue management skills
  • Implement Net Revenue Mgt (NRM) principles to improve ROI and improve profitability of promotion.
  • Support and implement customer profitability initiatives with commercial team
  • Partner with category & SIA team to identify category and shopper trends leading to instore activations - omnichannel, at shelf and off location
  • Ecomm - demonstrate omnichannel approach by building online plans to support instore activations
  • Achieve results according to Bayer LIFE and compliance guidelines
  • Be a role model of LIFE values - ensuring strong team spirit, engagement and high performance; Create a collaborative culture within the CH team

Does this sound like you?

  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent). Preferably, with a major in Commerce, Business Studies or Marketing
  • Previous experience managing key accounts in matrix organisation ideal.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including exposure to various trade spend tools Eg Exceedra.
  • Understanding of and level of competency using performance tracking data including IRI scan, Nielsen and/or Quantium
  • Proven track record of partnering with external stakeholders to achieve joint goals and targets
  • Demonstrated level of experience with customer level negotiations
  • Proven ability to thrive, succeed and work collaboratively with a cross functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and consultative skills
  • Ecommerce experience highly regarded
