Where do you want to go?

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager, Oncology based in SA for a part-time (3 days) role within our Specialty Medicine team responsible for promoting Bayer products to Health Care Professionals and other relevant target groups to meet and exceed sales targets within the allocated territory whilst identifying new opportunities for growth and helping build strong relationships with HCPs.  

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will develop a thorough understanding of the dynamics within your territory (e.g. customers, financial impact, competitors, and patient demographics) and strive to continuously improve the quality of Customer Engagement Excellence by executing in-clinic promotion, leveraging Patient Focused Interactions and implementing off-clinic promotional activities assigned to specific target customers.

An integral part of the Specialty Care Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement customer plans including account plans, while adhering to local regulations, industry, and company policies and in particular Medicines Australia Code of Conduct. 

You are a proactive, resilient self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced innovative environment genuinely passionate about the Health and Pharmaceutical sector. You have a demonstrated ability to work in an agile, digital environment building and leveraging solid relationships at all levels.

  • Build strong Customer relationships and deliver Customer-centric solutions 
  • Achieve sales, volume, growth, market share and listing targets for assigned brands 
  • Plan, orchestrate and execute HCP engagements, tailoring Patient Focused Interactions using right content based on HCP needs & priorities
  • Organize / Set-up regular scientific updates (e.g. CME, Scientific meetings) for HCP groups in alignment with defined marketing strategies
  • Report on customer engagement activities in Veeva CRM to enhance customer interaction and experiences 
  • Maintain a current and in-depth level of disease state, Bayer & competitor product knowledge to ensure that product discussions with specialists are of a high level 
  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to Sales / Marketing on MCCP strategies and tactics and identify potential new sources of business
  • Comply with local regulations, industry, and company policies and code of conduct
  • Uphold company values and team standards 
  • Have a growth mindset, show curiosity (i.e. Dare) and willingness to learn and self-develop

Does this sound like you?

  • Degree in Science, Business or equivalent 
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience with a demonstrated track record in a specialty care role and preferably in Oncology
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team skills 
  • IT literacy (basic knowledge and skills to utilize computers/tablets and related technology efficiently) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English language skills are a plus 
  • Energetic, Enthusiastic, self-driven, organized & willing to work extensively in field
