Where do you want to go?

This newly created role will be responsible for management and day-to-day operations of online key accounts and marketplaces in Australia. This role includes the ownership of channel development and seeking new sales leads with emerging online retailers.

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Ecommerce, and working closely with Ecommerce Channel Manager, you will have the opportunity to gain experience setting annual forecasts, monitoring sales and developing promotional activity calendar and performing ROI analysis. You will also set up product catalogues, upload promotions and contractual agreements on Amazon Central, and develop media plan proposals to support online sales across the relevant accounts.

  • Leverage your ecommerce expertise to seek out, vet and partner with new e-retailers
  • Work together with the ecommerce channel manager and media manager to develop and execute a Bayer Consumer Health ANZ e-commerce and retail media strategy
  • Execute promotional and media activity while delivering profitable growth at a faster rate vs the market
  • Prepare sales and media performance reports of online accounts
  • Work together with the media manager to monitor performance and optimise investment plans on a monthly basis
  • Work together with the ecommerce channel manager to develop and execute a Bayer Consumer Health ANZ e-commerce and retail media strategy
  • Deliver profitable growth at a faster rate vs the market
  • Prepare sales and media performance reports of online accounts and optimise investment plans accordingly
  • Work alongside the Ecommerce team to align on priority brands/ categories and investment plans by account
  • Work with online accounts and marketplace partners on JBPs (Joint Business Plans), aligning on collaboration areas, promotional activity calendars and overall channel development and category captaincy efforts
  • Propose target audiences (in-market, in and out of category), assign channel/ account priority and deliver content formats to support media, measure against communication objectives, deliver relevant product offering based on online shopper and consumption behavior, set pricing and promotions to drive sales growth and channel penetration
  • Work with lower funnel media agency (or accounts’ media teams) to develop and execute media plans, tracking and reporting on performance on and off-site
  • Work together with the Omnichannel Experience manager, Media manager and in-house digital creative team to deliver best creative content for product detail pages and digital ads
  • Seek out new sales leads to drive further channel development
  • Monitor performance against agreed KPIs relating to sales and media, delivering a consolidated report for the ecommerce channel
  • Work with accounts and Ecommerce Manager to ensure promotional activities drive sustainable sales growth while minimizing channel conflict
  • Manage customers’ orders, ensure inventory availability, and manage digital Co-Op budget to support your sales forecast targets

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in marketing / eCommerce / grocery / pharmacy /retail sales (commercial experience preferred)
  • Has a good understanding of the digital media landscape (upper and lower funnel)
  • Data driven, with data analysis at the forefront of investment decisions
  • Able to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the online retail space and submit proposals on where to play, where to invest
  • Able to craft and execute sales strategies, measure performance against set KPIs
  • Able to work on and deliver win/ win plans with online accounts and marketplaces
  • Experienced in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly effective collaborator, with strong influencing skills in a team setting
  • Work comfortably in a fast paced, high performing environment, tackling problems proactively and generating ideas and proposals that support the business in achieving its goals and objectives
