Where do you want to go?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to manage the operational management of AU warehousing across Australian domestic third-party logistics providers and the internal Bayer stakeholders to sustainably meet the service levels and logistics cost constraints.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will have the prime accountability for warehousing and transport operations on a daily / weekly basis, ensuring service levels are efficiently & accurately met within agreed costs.

An integral part of the Supply Chain team, you will ensure high levels of efficiency, cost transparency and accuracy through preparation of tracking reports including customer and DHL performance reporting to the Bayer leadership team.
- Operational management of order flow to and from DHL to meet customer & business requirements
- Ensure communications between Bayer SAP and DHL are maintained in high state of readiness
- Action and co-ordinate any service failures to learn and continuously improve service to customers
- Ensure integrity of inventory and manage efficient stock return process to minimise cost and stock write-off
- Ensure warehouse operations meet defined standards of compliance to local and Bayer requirements
- Manage inventory management processes in consultation with QA, CS and business requirements
- Manage all reconciliation processes between Bayer & DHL and resolving any differences
- Carry out inventory planning and redeployment (Stock Transfer Order) management
- Work with the Customer Operations team on measuring customer reporting
- Act as Local subject matter expert for Warehousing and Inventory Control IT systems across ANZ and a key user for P2R inventory & DHL interface
- Undertake testing of new functionalities as required.
Does this sound like you?
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline
- Strong background in logistics management with experience with FMCG is desirable
- Working knowledge of SAP and advanced excel
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods, managing 3PL/warehousing/inventory
- Sense of urgency and accuracy to complete documentation and meet deadlines
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven capability to negotiate, influence and manage expectations
- Develops strong and effective working relationships with cross functional teams.
