Where do you want to go?
Utilise your in-depth market knowledge to anticipate future product development needs and untapped market potential for Bayer Horticulture within ANZ. Focus on strategic portfolio development, formulation of business cases and go to market strategies, you will leverage your network connections to provide insights into market opportunities.
Based from our Hawthorn East office in Melbourne, this position will require regular travel within ANZ.
Do something that moves you.
- Indirectly lead the Bayer Horticulture peer community by setting the strategic direction for growth
- Portfolio Development: Identify product gaps/market needs and opportunities
- Undertake market research to provide an in-depth technical analysis of current products in the market
- Identify key drivers, strategic crops and prioritization of key customer needs
- Identify emerging trends within current and untapped markets
- Responsibility for formulation of business cases and go to market strategies
- Implement short-long term localized initiatives to meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with APAC/Global strategic directives
- Support the implementation and execution of marketing plans
- Work closely with management to support the identification of training and development needs for the division
- Promote knowledge sharing around product, industry developments and innovation
Does this sound like you?
- Strong working experience in marketing or sales and business development within the crop protection industry
- Good knowledge around the current ANZ agricultural business, current farming practices and behaviours
- A practical and real-world strategic thinker
- Solid financial/commercial skills
- Good project management skills
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects are various stages
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business management highly regarded
