Roster 1: 21.2 hours/week
Wednesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 2:30pm
Friday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Roster: 22.3 hours/week
Monday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday: 2:30pm – 7:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am – 5:00pm
💼 ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Warehouse (Storeroom) Assistant, you'll play a vital back-of-house role to keep things moving smoothly from the storeroom to the sales floor. You’ll help ensure stock accuracy, merchandise flow, and timely customer pickups, making life a little easier for parents and our store team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
📦 Stock Management: Unpack, label, and organise incoming stock
🚚 Delivery Processing: Accurately receive and process deliveries
🛠 Equipment Handling: Operate equipment (pallet jack, walkie stacker, trolley)
📋 Record Keeping: Maintain the Inwards/Outwards Goods Register
🤝 Customer Support: Assist customers with large item pickups
🧹 Store Maintenance: Keep the storeroom clean, safe, and organised
👀 ABOUT YOU
You’re reliable, proactive, and love working behind the scenes in a hands-on retail role. You're someone who gets things done and does it with a smile.
What you’ll bring:
✅ Experience in a retail storeroom or warehouse (2–3 years preferred, not essential)
✅ Great customer service skills and a team-first attitude
✅ Ability to safely lift and move stock (see physical requirements below)
✅ Confidence operating or learning to use stock equipment—training provided
✅ Strong attention to detail and comfort using systems or handheld devices
✅ Initiative to work independently when needed
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 15kg between floor and shoulder, 10kg above shoulder
Team-lift up to 45kg
Comfortable using ladders and wearing a headset for team comms

Recruitment Process

- Assessment Centre – Successful applicants will be invited to attend an assessment centre on either 23 or 24 September 2025 (location to be confirmed).
- Pre-Employment Checks – If successful, we will begin pre-employment checks.
- Offer & Contract – Once checks are complete and satisfactory, we’ll issue your employment contract.
- Start Date – Employment to commence 3-4 weeks before (depending on position) the grand opening.
- Grand Opening – The store officially opens on 13 December 2025!
