Your New Role 

Lead digital initiatives in one of Australia's leading retail businesses 

We're looking for an experienced Digital Business Analyst with strong eCommerce experience to join Baby Bunting's Digital team on a contract basis and play a key role in delivering strategic digital and customer experience initiatives. 

This is a hands-on role for an experienced BA who can quickly build relationships, navigate complexity and translate business needs into practical solutions. You'll work across customer, eCommerce and technology initiatives, partnering with stakeholders throughout the organisation to shape requirements, align teams and drive outcomes.

You'll join a collaborative, high-performing environment where you'll influence decisions, lead analysis activities and contribute to projects that directly impact customers and team members across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll work across significant digital and eCommerce initiatives, helping ensure solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with customer and commercial outcomes. 

You 'll be working cross functionally with Product, Technology, Digital, Operations and external partners, you'll drive initiatives from discovery through to implementation, bringing clarity to ambiguity and momentum to delivery.

• Leading business analysis activities across complex digital and eCommerce initiatives 
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to uncover business needs and define solutions 
• Translating business requirements into high-quality user stories, functional requirements and delivery-ready documentation 
• Working closely with Product/CX, UX, Delivery Lead, Developers and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle 
• Analysing existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve customer and business outcomes 
• Supporting discovery, solution design, testing and implementation activities 
• Managing competing stakeholder priorities and helping drive decisions in a fast-paced environment 
• Working across integrated platforms, systems and customer journeys 
• Acting as a trusted adviser to business and technology stakeholders 
• Contributing to continuous improvement across delivery practices, tools and ways of working 

If you've gotten this far, then you're up for the challenge. I'm not going to give you the usual laundry list of requirements, but this stuff is pretty much essential: 

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Digital Business Analyst within digital, eCommerce or technology environments 
• Strong eCommerce experience with a solid understanding of online customer journeys, conversion, search discovery and gifting experiences 
• Evidence that you've successfully delivered digital initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and requirements gathering through to testing, implementation and launch 
• Experience owning outcomes and driving initiatives forward, not simply contributing a small part of a much larger programme 
• Strong experience translating business needs into practical solutions, user stories, functional requirements and delivery-ready work 
• The ability to operate autonomously, manage ambiguity and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders and priorities 
• Experience working closely with Product/CX, UX, Delivery Lead, Developers, QA teams and external vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle 
• Practical experience working across integrated systems, APIs and digital platforms, with enough technical confidence to challenge assumptions and support solution design 
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build alignment and influence decisions at all levels 
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach and a track record of taking initiatives from concept to successful business outcomes 

It would be nice, but not essential, if you also come with: 

• Omnichannel retail experience across digital and store-based customer journeys 
• Exposure to Click & Collect, ship-from-store, endless aisle or similar omnichannel fulfilment models 
• Experience working across customer-facing websites, marketplaces or mobile applications 
• Experience working with third-party vendors and SaaS platforms 
• Exposure to tools like Jira, confluence, figma, agile practise and documentation standard. 
• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation or customer experience programs
