🚀 This is a unique opportunity to work across both the shop floor and our Child Restraint Fitting Service. You’ll build two skillsets in one role — supporting families in‑store while also training to become a certified Child Restraint Technician (CRT). 📍 Location – Located in the heart of Chatswood’s thriving retail hub, this store is surrounded by major shopping centres, dining spots and everyday conveniences, creating a lively and high-traffic environment. The area is exceptionally well connected, with Chatswood train and metro station nearby, along with frequent bus services. For those driving, parking options are available within the precinct. With countless cafés and eateries close by, it’s an energetic and convenient location for both work and breaks.

🕒 Roster– Tuesday & Friday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Sunday 12:00pm–5:00pm

💼 About the Role

In this dual position, you’ll be the friendly face families meet on the shop floor and the trusted expert who helps them travel safely with their little ones. Your day might start with helping a new parent choose their first pram, and end with installing a car seat for a family heading home from hospital. No two days look the same — and that’s what makes this role so rewarding.

You’ll receive full training to become a Child Restraint Technician, giving you nationally recognised skills while still enjoying the energy and connection of retail.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

💬 Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.

🛍 Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.

📦 Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.

⏰ Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

👀 About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

✅ Prior Customer Service Experience.

✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✅ High Standards in customer service and store presentation.

✅ Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.

✅Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
