In this newly created role, reporting to the General Manager of Merchandise & Planning, we’re looking for someone ready to establish and lead our Exclusive Brands partnerships from the ground up. If you’re commercially sharp, strategic, and excited by the challenge of creating something new and bringing premium baby brands exclusively to our customers, this is the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
🍼 Partnership Strategy
- Build and execute strategies to attract premium, safety‑led baby brands into exclusive agreements.
- Identify emerging category trends and shape long‑term commercial models that support exclusivity and growth.
🤝 Brand & Partner Management
- Own key relationships with exclusive brand partners, ensuring alignment on quality, safety and brand positioning.
- Lead performance reviews, governance, and renewal cycles to drive mutual value.
📊 Commercial Performance
- Manage revenue, margin, stock health and promotional plans for exclusive brands.
- Work with Buyers and Planners to forecast demand, optimise ranges, and identify growth opportunities through insights and category analysis.
📣 Cross‑Functional Activation
- Partner with Marketing on brand storytelling and launches.
- Enable store teams through product and safety education, and optimise digital merchandising with the online team.
🚼 Product & Safety Excellence
- Work closely with our safety team to ensure all products meet Australian standards.
- Support partners through product development and compliance, championing parent‑first product outcomes.
