Your Role:

This position is responsible for the administration and support of the enterprise risk, compliance and assurance activities, and ongoing review and monitoring of the Bank’s risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures. This involves working with staff at all levels across the Bank to identify, analyse, evaluate, treat, and monitor key material and compliance risks, but not limited to:

  • Compliance review, risk and controls testing, and risk assessments
  • Compliance monitoring on regulation updates and implementation
  • Monthly credit quality reviews
  • AML/CTF/KYC compliance reviews
  • Incident and breach investigations, follow up and reporting
  • Compliance and audit investigations, follow up and reporting
  • Management reporting
  • Review and update Enterprise Risk policies, procedures, plans, frameworks, risk appetite statement
  • Monitor and review specific end user calculators
  • Training and communication including updating intranet news and forums, face-to-face training & webinars
  • Regular updating of risk registers, metrics and records in the GRC system

About You

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:

  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services and license obligations in Australia (e.g. ASIC, APRA, AML, CTF, Privacy Act, NCCP).
  • Ability to develop policies, procedures, plans & frameworks.
  • Risk management and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills including clear, concise written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other systems (Promapp).
  • Competent in using and maintaining GRC system.
