Your Role:

The Settlements & Variations Manager is responsible for the delivery and support of daily Settlements and Variations services to the branches and our members, including but not limited to; timely processing of home loans including loan security documentation associated with purchases, construction loans, refinances, and discharges. This role is also responsible for providing on-going support to members, branches and third parties associated with the full loan process. 

About You

The Settlements & Variations Manager is also responsible for monitoring the integrity of member data and aims for greater efficiencies and quality in their activities whilst not compromising the support and services provided to members and Australian Military Bank employees.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience working in property conveyancing or in a loan settlements role
  • An understanding of banking/financial services and products
  • Experience with reading certificate of titles, loan contracts, mortgages, other loan documentation
  • Knowledge of the mortgage process – post credit approval and pre-settlements
  • Ability to effectively prioritise, manage deadlines and adopt to new ideas and concepts quickly
  • Legal and or conveyancing knowledge desirable
  • Experienced in managing a small team
  • Confident, enthusiastic, motivated, works well under pressure, takes ownership and responsibility of all matters and shows exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and results driven
