We are currently seeking a National Integrity Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The National Integrity Manager role is responsible for implementing best practice integrity framework to ensure our members have the confidence that they are participating in a safe, clean, inclusive and fair sport. This includes the management of all complaints and investigations which relate to Gymnastics under the National Integrity Framework, and other relevant Integrity-related Policies.

Reporting to the General Manager – Safer Sport, the primary purpose of the National Integrity Manager is to:

  • Manage the complaint resolution process in accordance with the relevant policies, including liaison with Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with SIA and GA’s Member Organisations to implement the National Integrity Framework.
  • Ensure GA’s compliance with the National Integrity Framework and other Integrity-related Policies.
  • Assist in the development and management of other integrity policies, guidelines and processes relating to integrity in sport.
  • Provide leadership and assistance to GA’s Member Organisations regarding integrity issues, concerns and practices.
  • Provide advice and assistance to the Member Organisations in relation to any alleged breaches of GA’s rules, regulations, codes and policies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of GA’s Complaint Management System ensuring all current and historical matters are recorded.

About You

We are seeking a person with proven experience in handling challenging conversations, which will primarily include handling complaints and/or investigations management. You will bring a passion for people and child safeguarding to collaborate, inspire, and deliver with empathy and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively navigating difficult conversations with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle difficult and challenging conversations with accuracy and empathy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Exceptionally high degree of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to undertake investigations and produce reports in relation to any incidents.
  • Highly developed writing skills, with ability to deliver under pressure of time and additional priorities.
  • Relevant working experience and/ or Tertiary qualifications. 

Position Location

Ideally the successful applicant will reside in Melbourne, however, other locations may be considered.
