About the Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability (ASAPD)
The Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability (ASAPD) is a newly created representative alliance between the National Sporting Organisations for People with a Disability (NSODs), designed to collaborate, advocate, and facilitate inclusive sport and physical activity for people with a disability, impairment, or limitation.
All Australians have an opportunity to engage in sport and physical activity in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The ASAPD has a unique opportunity in the lead up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic games to lead the sporting community by helping to identify and address the barriers and gaps to disability inclusion in sport, creating quality experiences for participants at all levels.
We are seeking a leader who shares our vision - someone who has the drive and capability to truly make a difference for people with a disability in Australian sport.
Please note: as this is a newly created organisation, the hours of work, contract terms and remuneration package will be negotiated at interview.
