About Sport Climbing Australia

Sport Climbing Australia (SCA) is the governing national sport organisation for sport climbing in Australia and the Australian representative of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC).

Sport climbing made its debut appearance on the Tokyo Olympic Games programme which involved competing across three sport climbing disciplines - speed, bouldering and lead.

Excitingly, Sport Climbing participation is rapidly growing in Australia and SCA is working to leverage current sport development opportunities to implement athlete development pathways, conduct technical workforce development activities, bid for and host world class sport climbing events, develop participation programming that brings new people to our sport and support industry development.

Sport Climbing Australia (SCA) is embarking on an ambitious and exciting new strategy within high performance. As a result, we are currently seeking to recruit our inaugural Performance Pathway Manager, to support our performance objectives leading into Paris 2024, LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.
