About the Role:
Our client is a tight-knit team delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, marine, and industrial projects. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, qualified electrician who brings specialised marine expertise alongside a broad electrical skill set to support their growing operations.
The role provides plenty of variety where no two days are the same, with with smaller jobs coming in and call outs and you would be part of a close knit team and have the ability to manage whole jobs from quoting to preparing invoicing for admin team to process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete electrical installations, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Diagnose faults and provide practical, reliable solutions
- Read and interpret plans, specifications and technical drawings
- Estimate labour or material costs/amounts from blueprints or work plans
- Follow all health and safety procedures and relevant electrical standards
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors and team members
- Maintain tools, equipment and accurate job records
What we are looking for:
- Current New Zealand electrical registration and practising licence
- Proven experience as a qualified Electrician and Supervisor experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge of electrical regulations and safe work practices
- A current full driver licence
- Good communication, organisation and customer-service skills
- Have marine and automotive skills to support the role
