Reporting to the GM eCommerce, you will build and execute cross-channel campaigns across our marketing automation technology stack and work collaboratively with the broader eCommerce and Marketing team to deliver personalised, relevant communications across the customer lifecycle stages in order to acquire, retain, grow and win-back customers. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop and implement marketing automation strategies in consultation with stakeholders
  • Manage and build audience targeting
  • Design and build new journeys and optimise existing ones right across the customer lifecycle, in order to retain, grow and win-back
  • Continuously monitor industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative technologies in marketing automation and customer lifecycle management
  • Stays abreast of Salesforce updates and new capabilities to ensure campaigns are optimised and utilisation of platform capabilities 
  • Train and support email specialists within the team to build capability with more complex email requirements and best practice journey design

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • 5+ years experience in Direct/Digital Marketing, Direct Response, CRM or Data Driven Marketing roles
  • Excellent analytical capability to drive continual efficiencies and performance from marketing campaigns
  • CRM specialist who is customer obsessed and relentlessly seeks new ways to improve the customer experience, ideally experienced in the travel/leisure or retail industry 
  • Hands on experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications
  • Proficient in AMP script and SQL  
  • Strong skills with HTML and CSS to customize email templates, landing pages, and forms
  • Ideally you will have experience in the travel/leisure or retail industry
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills
