About the Role:
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the employee experience for a diverse client group, ensuring consistent alignment with our people strategies and priorities.
You will partner closely with senior leaders on all P&C matters, including talent management, performance, employee relations and workforce planning. You will assist leaders of operational teams to address specific P&C challenges and opportunities, while providing expert guidance on employee relations, dispute resolution and conflict management, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
While we are an office-based organisation, an HR professional who has exposure to the rigours of industrialised workforces would be highly regarded.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated and proven P&C partnering experience, experience within heavy industry is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, employee relations and WHS legislation
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or other relevant field, or demonstrable experience within Human Resources
- Experience in coaching and developing leaders to enhance their people leadership capability would be highly regarded
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
About You:
You are seasoned P&C professional with a strong understanding of employment legislation and proven experience in partnering with leaders at all levels. You will demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels. A deep understanding of P&C processes and best practice will set you up for success in this role.
