What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the development, execution, and evaluation of strategic communication initiatives that span media relations, communications, and content development both internally and externally.

Responsibilities and duties in this role will include:

  • Lead the development and execution of a cohesive communications strategy to promote alignment, connection, and cultural consistency.
  • Serve as the key custodian of Asuria’s voice and tone, ensuring all internal and external messaging reflects our brand identity and Enterprising Heart values.
  • Partner closely with the People & Culture team and Office of the CEO to deliver communication initiatives.
  • Source, write, and develop compelling stories that reflect the impact of Asuria’s work.
  • Develop and manage internal communication campaigns and channels (e.g. newsletters, intranet, MS Teams, town halls).
  • Work with the CEO and Executive team on internal and external speeches, communications, and key strategic messaging.

 

Who are you?

Skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Minimum 3–4 years in journalism, PR, agency or in-house communications roles.
  • Strong understanding of integrated PR and communications strategy (including crisis management)
  • Knowledge of digital, social media strategy, analytics, and optimisation.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring, distribution tools, and communications platforms.
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills across multiple formats.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
