About the role:

The Field Support Team Leader collaborates with team leaders and management across the Business portfolios, assisting employees of all abilities to assess and develop job skills to meet business and customer goals. This role is split between daily production supervision and providing advice and coaching to help supported employees develop vocational skills that facilitate them to achieve their employment goals, including supporting or conducting yearly Performance Development Reviews (PDR’s) assessments in collaboration with business leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provided high quality coaching that assisted vocational skill development of employees of all abilities, in collaboration with business leads
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, assess skill gaps and training needs to identify additional coaching requirements for supported employees to meet their employment goals
  • Support and coach employees on a 1:1 or small group ratio to effectively develop specific business skills and support achievement of employment goals
  • Provide new employees with initial business orientation and basic workplace skills to effectively transition employees into supported employment
  • Collect data and provided records or reports on the positive changes in workplace performance following implementation of coaching support
  • Contribute to relevant business department annual Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) for Supported Employees to achieve employment and business goals
  • Support Employees and their business leads provided positive feedback on coaching support that enabled achievement of their employment goals.

About You:

  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver engaging coaching, performance feedback, and presentations to small groups
  • Sound interpersonal skills with negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Sound time management and organisational skills
  • Sound computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances, with a customer-centric orientation.
  • A commitment to Aruma’s Code of Conduct
  • Practical understanding of WHS requirements
  • A current Australian driver’s license with availability to travel from time to time
  • Have NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check clearance OR be willing to complete
  • Have a current First aid and CPR Certificate OR be willing to complete
  • Relevant training or qualification in disability supports or other transferable classification

Nice to have’s OR Desirable:

  • Experience working within a Retail & Administration or Production environment
  • Demonstrated experience in a training role within a similar industry, and relevant coaching and performance feedback expertise
  • A relevant trade or diploma qualification.
