About the role
As a Recover at Work Advisor, you’ll be the key driver of early intervention, recovery, and return‑to‑work outcomes. You’ll work closely with injured workers, managers, insurers, and health professionals to ensure a safe, timely, and supported recovery at work.
What you'll be doing
- Provide early, respectful, and supportive contact with injured workers and their managers.
- Coordinate recover‑at‑work and return‑to‑work plans, ensuring meaningful and suitable duties are identified.
- Lodge claims and notifications with insurers within required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate case notes, documentation, and records across systems and insurer portals.
- Coach managers on their obligations and best practice injury management.
- Monitor progress through regular communication with all stakeholders.
- Prepare payroll and PIAWE reports to ensure correct entitlements.
- Contribute to policy, process, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support investigations, common law matters, and regulator requests when required.
- Promote a strong safety, wellbeing, and human‑rights–based culture across Aruma.
What you'll bring
- Qualifications or experience in Rehabilitation, Return to Work, Workers Compensation, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and recover‑at‑work processes.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to reassure, negotiate, coach, and influence.
- High attention to detail and confidence using claims, payroll, and case management systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
- A genuine passion for supporting injured workers to recover at work.
