About the Role
As an Employment Pathways Coordinator, you will build strong relationships with schools, families, employers, NDIS stakeholders, and community partners to identify opportunities and support participants into employment pathways aligned with their goals, strengths, and support needs.
You will be responsible for participant attraction, stakeholder engagement, onboarding coordination, and ensuring a positive, person-centred experience from initial enquiry through to employment placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build referral pipelines and community partnerships with schools, providers, and local stakeholders.
- Promote Aruma's employment pathways through networking events, expos, and community engagement activities.
- Assess participant employment goals, strengths, and support requirements.
- Facilitate interviews, workplace tours, work experience opportunities, and pathway discussions.
- Coordinate onboarding, documentation, and employment administration.
- Review NDIS plans and funding to support pathway suitability and successful employment outcomes.
- Collaborate with operational teams to achieve sustainable employment placements and participant success.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience in disability services, employment services, supported employment, or NDIS environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, business development, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with schools, community organisations, employers, or NDIS stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and administration skills.
- A person-centred approach and passion for supporting people with disability to achieve their employment goals.
- Understanding of NDIS funding and employment-related supports (desirable).
