Core Parts of the Role

Sales & Pipeline Management (Weddings, Corporate & Functions)

• Owns enquiry through to booking conversion, actively driving revenue across weddings, corporate events, and group bookings.

Customer Experience & Function Delivery

• Manages end to end coordination from first enquiry to function execution, ensuring a high quality, seamless customer experience.

Business Development & Partnerships

• Builds relationships with corporate clients, community groups, and partners to generate new bookings and repeat business.

Commercial Performance & Growth

• Tracks enquiries, conversion rates, and booking value, contributing to revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Works across hospitality, tourism, retail, and farm operations to ensure events are delivered smoothly and align with business capability.

About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Weddings, Functions & Corporate Sales Coordinator to join the team at Summerland Farm.

This role is about more than just running functions it’s about driving bookings, growing revenue, and building strong customer relationships across weddings, corporate functions, and group experiences.

You’ll own the full journey from enquiry through to function delivery, working across a unique site that blends hospitality, tourism, farming, and events.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing enquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings
• Driving sales across weddings, corporate functions, and group bookings
• Building relationships with new and existing clients and partners
• Coordinating functions and weddings end-to-end from planning through to delivery
• Working closely with operations to ensure functions are executed smoothly
• Maintaining booking systems, proposals, and customer communication
• Identifying opportunities to increase bookings, spend, and repeat business
• Supporting marketing and promotional activities to generate leads
• Leading small teams during events and ensuring high-quality delivery

About You

• Experience in events, hospitality, or functions ideally with a sales focus
• Confident managing enquiries and converting leads into bookings
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
• Commercial mindset you understand revenue, conversion, and customer value
• Comfortable working across weekends and event-based hours
• Experience leading or coordinating teams (desirable)
