The Role
We are seeking a candidate with strong technical expertise for the Workforce Planning Manager role, a key leadership position responsible for driving high-quality workforce planning processes across the organisation. This role ensures Aruma has the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time to meet operational and strategic goals.
The Workforce Planning Manager will lead a team of Workforce Analysts, overseeing resource planning, workforce optimisation, and data analysis. This includes managing labour costs effectively while ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreements, business requirements, and NDIS funding guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading workforce planning initiatives to support operational demand and strategic workforce goals.
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of optimised rosters aligned to customer demand and staff availability.
- Collaborating closely with Operational Teams, the SIL Team, and Site Sustainability Panels to ensure workforce strategies are aligned with business needs.
- Driving continuous improvement in workforce planning through data-driven insights and analysis.
This is a critical role that supports Aruma’s ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and seasonal workforce shifts, ensuring we remain responsive, efficient, and sustainable.
What You Need to be Successful in this Role…
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce planning, human resources, or operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Problem solving and technical skills to solve complex workforce management issues.
- Project management skills that make you proficient in overseeing workforce planning initiatives to ensure they align with organisational objectives.
- Competence in the use of data analytics to enable effective workforce strategies.
- Ability to plan, monitor and coordinate actions in a timely manner, driving cost-effective and optimised work practices.
- Proficiency in workforce management software, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and turn complex data into meaningful insight.
