About the Role
Located in Bendigo and reporting to the Support Manager or Service Leader, you will work within the Purpose and Values of Aruma. You will be part of a high-performing Youth Support Team, delivering a positive customer experience to those in our care.
Key Focus Areas
- Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing home-like environment
- Promote positive family relationships and community connections
- Work within a trauma-informed framework to support young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours

What You’ll Need
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent (or willingness to enrol – see the attached document below)
- Mandatory Top-Up Units Residential Care (4 Modules)
- Valid Australian full driver’s licence
- Valid Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete a Child Safety and Personal Screening Check
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR qualifications
Skills & Experience
- Availability to work any rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster model, including awake nights and sleepovers
- Passion for supporting young people who have experienced trauma and have a disability
- Resilience and commitment to trauma-informed care
