Manager, Home and Living | Wodonga

About the Role

You’ll oversee our Home & Living services in Wodonga, ensuring your team is engaged, high-performing and aligned with Aruma’s mission. Your ability to combine strategic thinking with authentic leadership will help create a supportive environment for both staff and customers.

About You

  • At least five years’ experience in a middle management role, ideally within disability services
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications such as a Diploma in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Individual Support or Business Management, or equivalent
  • A strong commitment to human rights and delivering outstanding customer service
  • Skilled in mentoring, coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire others
  • Empathy, compassion and a genuine understanding of diverse perspectives
  • A collaborative approach and a natural ability to bring out the best in people

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver high-quality disability services
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to build a motivated, high-performing team
  • Manage budgets, rosters and team performance to meet strategic priorities
  • Champion human rights and person-centred practices in all aspects of service delivery
  • Coordinate multiple systems and processes to ensure operational success
