About the Role

Various shifts available between Monday to Saturday, up to 38 hours per week, depending on business needs. Shift availability and preferences can be discussed during the interview.

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Supervise a small team of General Hands, including supported employees.
  • Oversee the processing of linen, including cleaning, ironing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery to commercial clients.
  • Promote an inclusive work environment that enhances the lives of people with disabilities.
  • Support the achievement of operational and financial goals through effective team leadership.

Skills & experience that will make you stand out…

  • Proven experience in production or processing environments, ideally within a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Prior experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a diverse team, including Team Leaders, General Hands, and Supported Employees.
  • Ability to maintain operational efficiency while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Strong physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental demands of the role.
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint).
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.

Essential Requirements (or willingness to obtain):

  • Current CPR Certification
  • Valid First Aid Certification
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWS)
  • Full working rights in Australia
