The Role
You will be part of a dynamic and inclusive business enterprises team providing opportunities for people with disabilities to be employed alongside other skilled team members, to produce high-quality products and services for our commercial customers.
The focus of the role will be to support the Supervisors and their teams, collaborating with management to drive efficiency and minimise production down time, thus, supporting Aruma’s Purpose and Values to enhance the lives of people with a disability, and achieve agreed operational and financial goals.
A day in the life of a Production Coordinator...
- You met production targets through appropriate planning and coordination of resources.
- You supported the Supervisors and Team Leaders to effectively manage their teams, ensuring a safe, compliant workplace and productive working environment.
- You responded to and actioned customer feedback or ad-hoc requests.
- You ensured that organisational risks, compliance or production roadblocks were communicated and logged using appropriate systems or escalated appropriately.
- You collaborated seamlessly with internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient service, enhancing Aruma’s reputation and engagement with business customers.
What you need to be successful in this role?
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the demonstrated ability to meet challenging deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
- Sound business acumen with the ability to read, interpret and analyse business data, particularly in a production facility context.
- Sound verbal and written communication, with effective listening and negotiation skills. • Sound conflict resolution and collaboration skills, with the demonstrated ability to use internal and external networks to resolve issues.
- Sound numeracy and computer skills, particularly MS Office; including the capacity to learn new IT systems.
- A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a corporate setting in commercial laundry or similar production environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation, quality assurance systems and production management.
- Have to be willing to complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
- Be willing to complete a National Police Check clearance.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Nice to have’s OR Desirable
Experience working with people with disabilities, and /or a Certificate III in Disability Services.
