About the Role

This is your opportunity to put your new skills into action in a supportive, inclusive environment.

As a Support Worker at Aruma, you’ll provide tailored support to people with disabilities and young people, helping them live independently, engage with their communities, and build meaningful lives.

We have flexible work opportunities across two key areas:

  • Home & Living – Work in shared living environments with a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster. No two days are the same – from morning routines to evening wind-downs, you’ll be part of someone’s day-to-day journey.
  • Community Services – Provide support in people’s homes, community spaces, or Aruma hubs. Help customers meet their personal goals, join in community activities, or simply connect with others. Shifts are available throughout the week to suit your availability.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care, supporting mobility, and assisting with daily living skills
  • Building strong, respectful relationships and providing emotional support
  • Supporting people to access and enjoy their communities
  • Working closely with other professionals to follow support plans
  • Championing people’s rights and promoting independence
  • Creating safe, inclusive environments for young people with complex needs

What You’ll Bring:

  • A genuine passion for supporting others
  • Confidence and compassion – you’ve already started building this through your training
  • A willingness to learn and a flexible attitude
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle
