About the Role
You'll be supporting a participant who uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with daily living activities, personal care and community participation.
We're looking for someone who can combine strong practical skills with genuine empathy and a person-centred approach. Experience with manual handling and hoist transfers is essential.

Shifts Available
- Day shifts only
- 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Ongoing regular shifts
- Balwyn, VIC
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver person-centred support tailored to the participant's goals, preferences and aspirations.
- Provide personal care and daily living support with dignity, respect and professionalism.
- Support community access, social connection and independence.
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with the participant and their support network.
- Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Disability support experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting people who use wheelchairs.
- Confidence and practical experience using a hoist.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A person-centred approach and genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
- Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to delivering quality supports.
Desirable
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar qualification.
- Experience working within NDIS-funded services.
Compliance Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and valid working rights.
