Our Co-Ops team is a cloud-managed services capability that provides operational support and enhancement services to our customers. We support Azure cloud customers, and we pride ourselves on being technical experts and solving problems at scale. We emphasise the importance of proactivity, innovation, automation and high quality when delivering outcomes for our customers. Providing managed services support to our customers is our key competency, in addition to identifying and developing new Azure data solutions for these customers.
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Consultant to support our managed services customers and deliver new Azure data solutions to these customers. Someone who lives and breathes data and operations and can apply DevOps principles to manage a customer’s data estate.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable providing after-hours / on-call support (for high-priority incidents only) on a rotating roster. In the event you are called upon outside of hours, extra remuneration will be provided (in addition to our competitive salary and benefits package).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in ADF, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Perform data processing using PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, and T-SQL.
- Onboard new sources/datasets to already existing frameworks in ADF, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
- Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Ensure data governance, security, and best practices are followed in all implementations.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and integration within Azure environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in ADF, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, PySpark, Python, SparkSQL, and T-SQL.
- Someone who can learn Microsoft Fabric or has used it already
- Hands-on experience with metadata driven or config driven frameworks
- Experience in supporting, developing, and delivering data models
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, release pipelines, branching strategies, and Git.
- Experience working with an external customer base, preferably in a consulting capacity
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic mindset.
- Comfortable working with varied stakeholders and building strong relationships
- Experience in a data capability role, acting as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders
