What you’ll do

As our Workplace Relations Specialist, ensuring our workplace remains compliant, fair, and aligned with our broader purpose.

Working in partnership with People & Culture and operational leaders, you’ll support interpretation of enterprise agreements, provide expert IR and ER advice to our team, and build positive relationships with unions and workplace representatives.

This is your opportunity to shape our IR and policy framework, uplift leader capability and support resolutions that prioritise people and values - all while seeing the real-world impact of your work.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Providing expert support across Enterprise Agreements, workplace policy development and the implementation of a streamlined Industrial Relations framework.
  • Advising on industrial instruments, employment legislation and interpretation.
  • Coaching leaders to manage workplace matters
  • Ensuring wage compliance and accurate classification mapping
  • Supporting the team in investigations and resolution meetings where required
  • Drafting and updating workplace policies and procedure
  • Monitoring legislative updates and implement new legislation to the organisation,
  • Providing support during Enterprise Bargaining processes
  • Communicating effectively with workplace delegates and union officials

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience in employment law or industrial relations
  • Broad experience navigating Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and IR frameworks
  • Strong background in industrial/employment relations advice and compliance
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders and translate complex IR issues into simple language

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience supporting unionised work environments
  • Familiarity with dispute resolution and Fair Work Commission processes
  • An interest in policy development and drafting clauses
  • A genuine alignment with AnglicareSA’s values and social impact mission
