Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a proactive and future-focused IT Transformation Officer to lead the coordination and implementation of digital transformation initiatives across our Community Aged Care portfolio.

At AnglicareSA, our Community Aged Care team is dedicated to supporting older South Australians through compassionate, respectful, and high quality clinical care empowering them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.

In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic IT change by aligning digital initiatives with business goals and fostering a culture of digital adoption to enhance operational efficiency and client outcomes. Strong relationship-building skills are key, as you’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and adoption.

You’ll play a vital role in shaping how technology enhances care delivery empowering staff, streamlining processes, and improving the lives of those we support. What can you expect to be doing?

  • Leading the development and execution of IT transformation strategies that align with aged care business goals.
  • Identifying and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Managing transformation roadmaps and business cases, and acting as the primary IT systems contact for Aged Care Services.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and making strategic recommendations in line with industry trends and organisational needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while managing risks and scope.
  • Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment, communication, and support for transformation efforts.
  • Monitoring project performance, resolving issues, and championing digital adoption across the aged care portfolio.

What do you need to bring?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field; project and change management certifications are highly regarded.
  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, software development, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience delivering complex IT projects with a focus on strategic transformation and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated capability in change management, including user training, system rollout, and adoption strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a clear understanding of how technology can improve business processes.
