Behind every device, system and asset is important work that helps our people do their jobs well. In this role, your organisation, accuracy and service mindset will help ensure IT assets are tracked, managed and available when they are needed most.

Apply for the IT Asset Administrator role and help provide the reliable technology support that enables meaningful work across AnglicareSA.

What you’ll do

As our IT Asset Administrator, you will coordinate AnglicareSA’s IT assets throughout their lifecycle. From purchasing support and allocation through to tracking, recovery, reporting, audits and disposal, you will help ensure our hardware, software and mobile devices are accurately recorded, securely managed and available when needed.

This is a practical, detail-focused role where your organisation, accuracy and communication skills will make a real difference. You will work closely with IT team members, procurement, finance, vendors and employees across the organisation to support smooth delivery of IT assets and maintain strong asset management practices.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Maintaining accurate records of IT hardware, software and mobile devices in the asset management system.
  • Supporting asset allocation, tracking, recovery, inventory management and internal leasing processes.
  • Reconciling physical inventory against asset registers and contributing to regular audits and reporting.
  • Supporting purchasing processes, accounts payable activities and vendor coordination for technology assets.
  • Helping maintain compliance with software licensing, asset disposal, security and organisational procedures.
  • Providing clear guidance and support to employees and stakeholders on IT asset management processes.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate in Business Administration or IT, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience maintaining databases, asset registers, inventory records or similar administrative systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including confidence using Excel.
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We would also love you to have:

  • Experience in IT asset management, IT operations, desktop support or a related technology environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, accounts payable or inventory control processes.
  • Experience working with vendors or supporting internal stakeholders across multiple sites.
  • Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A service-focused approach and genuine interest in supporting technology that enables people to do their best work.
