A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing and communications leader to join AnglicareSA. Reporting to our Executive General Manager, Social Enterprise, you will lead the team to promote and strengthen our brand and strategic objectives through impactful and effective strategies around marketing, communications, and advocacy, highlighting the necessity and impact of our programs and services.

This role will suit a proven leader with experience developing and operationalising a marketing and communications strategy for a complex organisation, who can guide us through a process of change as we challenge the status quo and look at opportunities and innovations in this space.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Ensure that the organisation has a marketing and communications strategy which connects the business portfolios
  • Support the business to execute on brand awareness opportunities and quantify the benefits
  • Execution of strategies that highlight and communicate the impact we have in the community
  • Consistency (timing, quality, depth) of communications internally and externally
  • Clear processes of when to engage the Marketing & Communications teams to deliver outcomes for the business
  • Provide direction and guidance to Executive / CEO during times of crisis or when urgent communications are required to stakeholders

What do you need to bring?

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in media, marketing, communications, or similar.
  • Demonstrable and extensive strategic marketing, media, and communications experience.
  • Proven experience in the leadership of delivering quality marketing initiatives and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Highly experienced in strategic and corporate communications, including crisis and issues management, and advocacy.
  • Extensive knowledge of community networks, peak bodies, business, and political environments.
  • Ability to think analytically about issues and to distil, simplify and effectively communicate information.
