So many lives. So many ways. One you.
50,000 lives and counting.
That’s how many South Australians our people support each year.
As one of the state’s leading not-for-profits, we’re making a meaningful impact at scale. From foster care to aged care and everything in between, our services are as diverse as the people and communities we serve - and we’re growing our reach for the future.
It takes a special kind of person to work in this sector. Someone with real compassion and care. Could that person be you?
Join us as an Enrolled Nurse and bring your clinical skills into the community where relationships and continuity of care truly matter.
What you’ll do
As an Enrolled Nurse in Community Aged Care, you’ll provide high-quality, customer-centred nursing support to older South Australians in their own homes .
Working closely with Registered Nurses and the broader multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver clinical care such as wound management, medication support, health monitoring and wellness checks across the community. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers through regular visits, while working autonomously in a trusted, supportive team environment.
You’ll see approximately 5–6 customers per day across metropolitan Adelaide, with a mix of ongoing clinical support and responsive visits as customer needs change. If you enjoy variety, independence and making a real difference in people’s lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a community setting.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Delivering safe, person-centred nursing care including wound care, observations, medication administration and health monitoring in customers’ homes
- Monitoring changes in health and functional status and communicating effectively with Registered Nurses and the wider care team
- Supporting the development and review of service plans that enhance customers’ independence, wellbeing and quality of life
- Building strong therapeutic relationships through regular visits and continuity of care
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation aligned with clinical standards, legislation and AnglicareSA policies
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Community Aged Care or community nursing (or similar setting)
- Demonstrated experience in wound care, medication administration and health observations
- Current First Aid certificate and confidence working independently in customers’ homes
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across metropolitan Adelaide
We would also love you to have:
- Post-qualification training in wound care or chronic disease management
- Experience supporting customers with chronic or complex wounds (including diabetic wound care)
