What you’ll do
This Expression of Interest is your opportunity to step into one of two exciting entry-level pathways within our Community Aged Care team—Junior Workforce Rostering Officer (ongoing) or Junior Service Support Officer – Administration (12-month contract).
These roles are designed to support your development. You don’t need prior experience—just a willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and confidence using computer systems. Whether you’re coordinating rosters or supporting administrative processes, you’ll play a key role in keeping services running smoothly for older people in the community.
In the rostering pathway, you’ll learn how to coordinate schedules, respond to real-time changes, and ensure clients receive the right support at the right time. In the administration pathway, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of processes, from customer service and data entry to supporting teams with essential operational tasks.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Providing responsive, friendly customer service via phone, email, and in person
- Learning systems and processes to support rostering or administrative functions
- Assisting with scheduling, data entry, inbox management, or coordination tasks
- Working collaboratively with teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Building your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Confidence using computers, systems, and Microsoft Office
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- A positive, team-focused attitude
We would also love you to have:
- Interest in rostering, administration, or community services
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or admin (not essential)
- Ability to manage tasks and prioritise effectively
- Curiosity to learn new systems and processes
