- Full time ongoing based at Hindmarsh
- Help coordinate reliable Community Aged Care services that support older South Australians to live independently at home.
- Build on your customer service experience in a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
So many lives. So many ways. One you.
50,000 lives and counting.
That’s how many South Australians our people support each year.
As one of the state’s leading not-for-profits, we’re making a meaningful impact at scale. From foster care to aged care and everything in between, our services are as diverse as the people and communities we serve - and we’re growing our reach for the future.
Step into a Workforce Rostering Officer role where your expertise drives real impact for older South Australians.
What you’ll do
As a Workforce Rostering Officer, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our Community Aged Care customers receive the right support at the right time. With customer service at the heart of the position, you’ll work closely with customers, service teams and employees to coordinate responsive schedules that reflect individual needs and preferences.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll balance planned scheduling with changing priorities, resolve service gaps and find practical solutions. Rostering experience can be taught - we’re particularly interested in highly motivated people who bring strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
- Coordinating and maintaining customer schedules across multiple Community Aged Care programs.
- Speaking directly with customers to understand their needs, navigate scheduling changes and negotiate suitable service arrangements.
- Responding quickly to unexpected changes and service gaps while keeping customers and relevant teams informed.
- Matching customer needs with employee skills and availability to support reliable, person-centred services.
- Maintaining accurate roster and timesheet information while meeting organisational requirements, policies and timeframes.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Strong customer service experience, ideally within a busy service environment.
- Confident communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations and respond constructively to concerns.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
- The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of tasks and following through on commitments.
We would also love you to have:
- Experience in customer scheduling, rostering, complaints resolution or service coordination.
- Experience within community aged care, disability, medical administration, clinic administration, health insurance or another customer-focused health environment.
- Previous exposure to AlayaCare, Daiton or similar scheduling and customer management systems.
- An understanding of workforce agreements, timesheet processing or community-based service delivery.
